Roser is a midwife and nurse with extensive clinical experience in birth settings in both the Catalan and British healthcare systems. She specialises in areas such as perinatal mental health, the biomechanics of birth and digital health. She was coordinator of the first Birth Centre within the Catalan healthcare system, helping to transform the model of care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period towards a more person-centred approach.

She currently combines teaching and research at ESIHMar, where she teaches subjects such as the Historical and Philosophical Evolution of Care, Maternal and Child Nursing Care, and ICT in Health, with her professional practice. She is also Research Coordinator at A Thousand Colibris S.L. (ATC), an organisation working on innovation in maternal and child healthcare.

In 2020, she began her PhD at Pompeu Fabra University with the study “Birthing Better: impact of birth environment on short- and long-term health outcomes and childbirth experience”, exploring how the birth environment affects the health of mothers and babies. Her academic interests include analysing perinatal outcomes according to the care setting, and she has published work on birth experiences, birth centres and perinatal mental health, among other topics.

Roser is a board member of the Spanish Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health (MADRES). She is involved in maternal health projects, bringing a critical and up-to-date perspective on the evolution and challenges of maternal and child healthcare.

She is a committed, organised professional with an analytical and research-minded approach. She tackles every intervention rigorously, designing effective, clear and structured action plans to improve maternal and child health.
