Educational Psychologist · Learning Strategies

Yany supports adolescents and young people with learning difficulties, and provides guidance to their families and teachers. She is currently part of the Trivium team, where she helps adolescents and young people develop learning strategies and study techniques, strengthening their organisation, planning and independence as they face academic challenges.

She previously worked for almost three years as an educational psychologist at SEK-Catalunya in La Garriga, as part of the Educational Psychology Guidance Department. There, she supported pupils with a range of educational needs and learning difficulties, taught study techniques and took part in implementing and monitoring Individualised Plans. She also worked on emotional and behavioural issues that could interfere with learning, and advised families and teachers. Her career also includes experience as a Human Resources consultant, contributing to research projects in Germany, the Netherlands and Barcelona.

She is especially passionate about working with adolescents and supporting them at times when learning becomes a challenge. She takes a personal and tailored approach to her work, helping each young person better understand how they learn and develop strategies that enable them to progress with greater independence and confidence.

Enthusiastic, patient and motivating, she has a natural ability to build trusting relationships with adolescents. She enjoys sparking their curiosity, building on their strengths and making learning a meaningful experience.
