Registered Health Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist at Trivium La Caseta (UTC)

Ona assesses, diagnoses and treats neurodevelopmental, learning, social-emotional and behavioural difficulties.

At Trivium La Caseta, she provides comprehensive support for children and young people with ASD, addressing communication foundations, emotional needs and behavioural development simultaneously, and tailoring her approach to each person’s pace and profile. She works with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and has specialist training in PECS. She also supports children with food selectivity and mealtime routines, always in coordination with their families.

She also works as a Trivium practitioner, supervising and implementing the Glifing programme, a reading training programme that children complete at home under supervision and which is designed to address reading and writing difficulties associated with dyslexia. Through adapted and personalised exercises, it helps children improve their phonological, visual and auditory processing skills.

Alongside this, she contributes to Trivium’s research by collecting data to monitor the progress of children and adolescents and demonstrate the effectiveness of the interventions carried out.

She achieved the highest academic record in her year group on the double degree in Speech and Language Therapy and Psychology (2020–2025).

Warm and committed, Ona takes an attentive and respectful approach to the needs of each child and family. She is known for her sensitivity, powers of observation and care in supporting each intervention process.
