Speech and Language Therapist · General Coordinator of Trivium La Caseta (UTC)

Eva specialises in assessing and supporting pragmatic communication difficulties, both in children and young people with high-functioning autism and in those with complex communication needs who require intensive support.

She is the General Coordinator at Trivium La Caseta, where she combines speech and language therapy with team coordination and project management. She is responsible for organising schedules, allocating groups and coordinating with families and schools, ensuring team cohesion and efficient services.

She specialises in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and is certified in the PROMPT technique, which uses tactile cues to support speech in children with developmental apraxia, dysarthria, motor speech disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other complex articulation difficulties. She has extensive training and experience in autism spectrum disorders and supporting people with complex communication needs, both in clinical and educational settings. Throughout her career, she has supported children and young people with multiple disabilities, enriching her professional perspective and understanding of communication.

She is the author of the charity book Without a Diagnosis, which gives a voice to the experiences of families with children with severe disabilities. All proceeds go towards research into rare diseases at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute.

Eva is known for her calm, welcoming presence, which helps create an atmosphere of trust and respect with children, families and professional teams. Reflective and creative, with an attentive and committed approach, she combines kindness with responsibility, pays close attention to detail and always acts in keeping with her personal values and professional commitment.
