Speech and language therapist · AAC and music therapy at Trivium La Caseta (UTC)

Carlota works in communication and language with children with ASD, as well as implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. She currently works as a speech and language therapist at Gavina Special Education School and combines this role with her professional work at Trivium.

She takes a holistic approach to support, considering both each child’s needs and those of their family, with the aim of providing tools and strategies that promote functional communication, participation in everyday life and the development of independence.

She is notable for her passion for learning and ongoing professional development, as well as her ability to listen, her empathy and her commitment. In her professional practice, she places particular importance on building a relationship of trust with each child and their family, adapting her support to their needs and characteristics.
