TRIVIUM MEANS

“the place where
three paths meet”

(tri+via)

It is a way of understanding personal development through thought, communication and emotions.

THE STARTING POINT

How
do we learn?

Learning is a complex process that involves substantial changes in the brain. When someone learns something meaningful, that learning is not only recorded in the memory, but also causes physical changes in the brain.

These changes take the form of new synaptic connections, particularly in the cerebral cortex, which is involved in cognitive functions such as thought, memory, consciousness and decision-making.

Emotions reinforce learning, as experiences with a strong emotional charge are more easily remembered.

In addition, repetition and regular practice, interactive activities and hands-on experiences are also key to consolidating learning.

New
learning

  • New neural connections.
  • The cerebral cortex (thought, memory, consciousness, decision-making).
  • Emotions reinforce learning.
  • Physical activity and coordination consolidate information.
  • Repetition and regular practice.
  • Interactive activities and hands-on experiences.
  • Constructive feedback.
  • Using the different senses.
  • Creating meaningful associations with prior knowledge.
  • Applying memory and organisational techniques.

The learning
journey

Learning is an evolutionary process that begins with prior knowledge and develops by gradually introducing new information and skills.

This approach encourages concepts to be interconnected and applied in a range of contexts, while strengthening a person’s confidence to face future challenges.

We address developmental and acquired difficulties throughout the life cycle

We value flexibility and the ability to adapt to individual needs, adjusting our approach to suit each person’s circumstances and improve their learning experience.

Language

The brain’s intricate neural networks for language coordinate our ability to speak and understand in detail. Various areas of the brain work together to process everything from sounds to linguistic interpretations and responses.

Language also has a profound impact on our thoughts and emotions: our emotional state can affect the way we speak and understand, while the words we hear or read can significantly influence our mood.
